A cafe lock is a locking mechanism that applies a shackle to the rear wheel so that it cannot be rolled away. This extra level of protection comes as standard on virtually all of our e-bikes - but it can be just as useful for your city bike as well! If your bike does not already come with mounting points, such as on our Breezer bikes, you can use Abus' Spanban straps to secure the lock to your bike (the shackle cannot be removed even if these reinforced straps are cut). Add the Abus ACH 2.0 6ks Frame Lock Chain to secure your bike to a rack as well! 

• 8.5 mm thick locking shackle
• The shackle, the case as well as supporting elements of the locking mechanism are made of special hardened steel
• Accessories can easily be fitted to the locking mechanism on the lock housing

A secondary lock is strongly reccomended if you will be out of sight of your bike, or leaving it for extended periods of time. See our suggestions below!
